QBH a threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is different threaded
on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod.They are designed
to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread.

Flange Nuts are hex nuts with a bottom circular flange that is larger than their top hex section. There
are two types commonly available: flange lock nuts, which are prevailing torque type lock nuts,
and serrated flange nuts, which are free spinning but have a serrated bearing surface to grip the
mating surface.
